Also, I wanted to share the story of Joel & Jenny’s extremely romantic New Year’s date.  Joel’s parents kindly offered to take care of Lyla so that we could go out on New Year’s.  They had given us an Applebee’s gift card so we decided to go out to eat and then maybe rent a video.  Well, we got to Applebee’s and the wait was 50 minutes so we said forget it, and instead decided to go all out (being that it was New Year’s) and had a fabulous meal at McDonald’s.  Then (brace yourself) we went to Wal-Mart and bought toilet paper, diapers, and Rolaids.  After that we decided it was too late to get a video so we went home.  What a night!  We had to laugh a bit as we realized how life changes…
