In memory of my beautiful, amazing, vibrant, passionate, loving auntie…LOVE YOU AUNT RITA!!!

Some of my favorite memories…

One summer during my college years Aunt Rita and some other relatives were up at my parents’ house in Rhinelander.  I agreed to go with Aunt Rita on one of her famous “power walks”.  Oh man did I try my best to keep up and make it appear I was just fine, but I was actually in SEVERE PAIN trying to keep up with my extremely fit and energetic aunt!  It was worth it though when she complimented me on being one of the only people that has kept up to her pace on her walks. 🙂

I also remember joking with her about being “accountability partners” when we were both addicted to eye drops.  We had to join Eye Drops Anonymous. 🙂

Another sweet memory was walking with her on the beach boardwalk in San Diego when everyone was gathered for my cousin Cara’s wedding.  I confided in her about the difficulty that Joel and I were having with getting pregnant.  Aunt Rita shared such words of encouragement and hope that truly lifted my spirits. 🙂

She was always, always full of fun and energy and love. You will be dearly missed, my wonderful Auntie.
